Exhaust Water Muffler - Aid to Pollution Control

Exhaust water muffler is constructed of 316 grade stainless steel, which is resistant to high temperatures and corrosive conditions as caused by hot exhaust gases. The equipment can be easily installed on the exhaust system of your forklift diesel engine.

Application
It is a solution to the black smoke which is emitted by the diesel engine. Diesel engines always need to have their injection apparatus perfectly functioning at 75% max power in order to avoid the emission of black smoke. These conditions are practically never fullfiled and consequently there are always pollution emission.

Working
Engine exhaust, containing unburnt hydrocarbons and other pollutants like sulphurous compounds and aldehydes is made to pass through the water muffler.

The exhaust gas passes through a perforated tube placed in water filled centifuge tank and is cleaned by water gurgling before it is emitted to atmosphere.
