Geared Motors

Newton Geared Motors are designed and manufactured to provide efficient, continuous drive for slow speed, high torque applications. The geared motor consists of a compact, coaxial gearbox fitted with a flang / face mounted motor.

Gear Housing
The gear housing and end covers are designed for ruggedness and effective cooling. These are manufactured out of high-grade close-grained cast iron. The bearing bores are machined on Devlig precliboring machines. The mating faces and covers are accurately machined to provide oil tight joints.

Gears and Pinions
Gears and Pinions are helical type and are designed to transmit high torque and power, under different operating conditions, providing high contact ratio for better load sharing and noise free operations. The high speed train is profile ground to ensure smooth, noise feree running. All bearing journals are ground to eliminate errors due to eccentricity.
